(API)makesAXISA1001ascalableandfuture-proofsolutionthatcaneasilyintegratewithother

systemsandcomponents.

AXISA10001NetworkDoorControllercomeswitha

built-insoftwareforbasicaccessmanagement.Itis

openforthird-partysoftware,allowingtheunittobe

integratedwithsolutionsprovidedbyAxispartners.

Thecontrollerisasmartindependentdevicethatisin-

stalledbyeachdooranddataisautomaticallysynchro-

nizedbetweenthecontrollersinthesystem.Itwillcon-

tinueitsnormaloperationandbuffereventslocallyif

thereisanetworkfailure.

AXISA1001supportsPoweroverEthernet,whichelimi-

natestheneedforseparatepowercablestodooracces-

soriesandotherproprietarydatacables.

Thecontroller’scolorcodedconnectorsandthecong-

urationwizardenablesfail-safeandeffectiveinstalla-

tions.Thecontrollersupportsmostreadertypesandis

ttedwithcongurableinput/outputportsandcontrol-

lablepoweroutputsforexternalequipmentsuchasdoor

locksandpositioningsensors.

Addingnewcontrollerstothesystemiseasy.Thedoor

controller,aswellasallotherequipmentcanbereused

ifamoreadvancedsolutionisrequested.

Thecontrollersupportsadvancedsecurityandnetwork

management,includingfault/tamperdetection.The

supportforUninterruptiblePowerSupply(UPS)enables

powertobemaintainedintheeventofapoweroutage

andeliminatestheneedforbatteryback-upateach

door.Theplenum-ratedcontrollerisdesignedforwall

andceilingmount.
